“Tragic Discoveries in Brighton: Man Found Deceased on Shore”

A man was discovered deceased on the shore in Brighton, while the town continues to grieve over the recent tragic loss of three sisters just a fortnight ago.

The body of the man was found on Rottingdean beach on a Friday morning, as confirmed by Sussex Police. Authorities are currently present at the location, and a restricted area has been established.

According to a police spokesperson, law enforcement received a report on Friday morning, May 29, regarding the discovery of a man’s body on Rottingdean beach. The individual has not been formally identified yet, and investigations are ongoing to determine the complete circumstances.

This incident follows the retrieval of three bodies from the sea near Madeira Drive on May 13. Sussex Police identified the deceased women as Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, from the Uxbridge region of London.

An inquiry into their deaths commenced at Woodvale in Brighton on Friday, where it was revealed that post-mortem examinations indicated the cause of death as “yet to be determined.”

During the inquiry, Senior Coroner Penelope Schofield addressed the women’s father, Joseph Jacobson, online, expressing sympathy for the loss of his daughters, acknowledging the unbearable grief he must be enduring.

Details presented at the inquiry mentioned that Ms. Adetoro was brought ashore by an RNLI team and pronounced deceased by a paramedic on-site. Christina Walters was rescued from the sea by an RNLI lifeboat, while Rebecca Walters was found on Brighton beach and also declared dead by paramedics.

The inquiry disclosed that medical investigations are still ongoing to establish the exact cause of death for all three women, though authorities currently believe there was no external involvement.

The sisters resided together in Greenford, west London, with their occupations remaining unknown.

The coroner expressed hope that the information from the inquiry would quell speculations on social media regarding their deaths and adjourned the hearing to October 8.

Following their passing, Mr. Jacobson, in a statement released through Sussex Police, expressed his profound loss, highlighting the cherished memories and everlasting impact his daughters had on their family.

A fundraising page set up by the family for funeral expenses and assistance has amassed nearly £44,000.
