Princess Eugenie Quietly Steps Down from King’s Foundation

Princess Eugenie has quietly exited her position at The King’s Foundation after a year of service. The daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson was named a mentor for the ‘35 under 35’ program in May 2025, which aimed to support emerging leaders in fashion, architecture, and environmental activism.

Being King Charles’ niece and expecting her third child, Eugenie had previously commended the Foundation’s work aligned with the King’s interests. However, after just one year, she has stepped back from her influential role. It is reported that Eugenie only attended a single formal engagement during her tenure with the foundation.

Reports suggest that Eugenie’s involvement with the organization was intended for the Foundation’s 35th anniversary year and naturally concluded thereafter. Despite this, she had multiple interactions with program participants, providing ongoing support and guidance. The King’s Foundation has been approached for comment by The Mirror.

Eugenie’s sole public appearance for the foundation occurred in November last year, where she spoke at a mentors brunch in Soho about the significance of mentorship and how her art passion has influenced her career as an art gallery director at Hauser and Wirth.

In other news, Eugenie had also resigned from Anti-Slavery International following her father’s recent arrest. Her profile was removed from the charity’s website, which previously highlighted her collaborative efforts with anti-slavery leaders.

Despite these developments, Eugenie maintains a positive relationship with her uncle, King Charles, who expressed joy at her pregnancy announcement earlier this month at Buckingham Palace. Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, shared the news of expecting their third child alongside their two sons, August and Ernest.
