A man has been convicted of sexually assaulting two women in Falkirk, Scotland, as they walked home from nights out. Muhammad Sheikhi, 23, committed the attacks in the early hours of Sunday, November 30, near the Hotel Cladhan, where he was staying. The first victim was approached at a railway bridge, where Sheikhi kissed her and placed his hands under her skirt. The second assault occurred on a street and at a nearby skate park, where he touched the victim inappropriately. Both women, in their twenties, were walking home alone after their nights out. Despite denying the charges and claiming he was simply wandering around due to lack of company, Sheikhi was found guilty after a trial at Stirling Sheriff Court. The prosecutor described his behavior as “predatory” and emphasized the distress caused to the victims. The jury returned guilty verdicts on both charges, and Sheikhi is awaiting sentencing on June 29.
