“FIFA Player Grants Charity Fundraiser’s World Cup Wish”

A brave individual known for fundraising for charity has been given a special opportunity to attend a World Cup match by a prominent player. Jordan Adams, 31, traveled to Atlanta to witness England playing against Argentina, courtesy of Kobbie Mainoo, a key midfielder of the team. This gesture came after Jordan’s public request for a ticket went viral during his journey from Heathrow to Atlanta.

Jordan’s remarkable efforts in raising awareness and funds for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) caught the attention of FIFA, leading to a significant partnership with his advocacy organization. Through social media, Jordan shared his excitement about attending the Atlanta match, expressing his gratitude for the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream amid his battle against a terminal prognosis of FTD, a condition that took the lives of his mother and twelve other family members.

Acknowledging Mainoo’s generous act, Jordan expressed his appreciation and announced that he would be a special guest of FIFA at the game. He also revealed plans for collaboration between the FTD Brothers and FIFA to raise dementia awareness through social media campaigns. Jordan emphasized the importance of leveraging this opportunity to make a difference and maximize his life experiences.

Jordan and his brother Cian co-founded the FTD Brothers to raise awareness of the disease that claimed their mother’s life in 2016. Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, the brothers have raised nearly £2 million for dementia research in honor of their late mother, Geraldine, who succumbed to FTD at the age of 52. Both brothers carry a gene that predisposes them to developing the disease in their 40s, potentially leading to fatal consequences within a decade.
