Reports from local media indicate that the man yelled “Allahu Akbar” while carrying out the attacks at Winterthur train station. During the incident, a group of schoolchildren was present, and their teacher bravely shielded them from the violence.
Witnesses described how the assailant, a middle-aged man, shouted “Allahu Akbar” and proceeded to stab four men with a knife. As the attack unfolded, a school class happened to be passing by, and their teacher quickly moved to protect them from the distressing scene.
Another witness, a taxi driver, confirmed the attacker’s presence near the station’s underpass, where he targeted multiple people. The area around the underpass has been sealed off, with forensic officers at the scene marking evidence for investigation.
