Carey Price, a long-time goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens, is set to be honored for his induction into the Hall of Fame. The Canadiens announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on November 10 to celebrate this achievement, following his official induction ceremony the day before.
Having devoted his entire 15-year NHL career to Montreal, Price holds the record for the most games played and victories as a goaltender in the franchise’s history. With a remarkable 251 goals-against average and .917 save percentage over 712 career games, he has solidified his place in hockey’s pantheon.
During a game against the Minnesota Wild, Price will be recognized and added to the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, joining the elite group of former players who have left an indelible mark on the sport. Additionally, Price’s impressive career includes seven all-star appearances and being selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
The Montreal Canadiens are gearing up for the upcoming season, with the pre-season commencing on September 19 and the regular season opener scheduled for September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
