“Trump Announces Renewed Military Action Against Iran”

President Donald Trump has informed Congress of renewed hostilities with Iran, initiating fresh military operations in the region.

The recent military strikes come shortly after Trump terminated the ceasefire agreement, which aimed to facilitate peace negotiations over a year.

In a statement to CNN, the President declared intentions to target Pickaxe Mountain and warned Iran about the impending action. Additionally, he asserted control over the Strait of Hormuz by implementing a blockade on Iranian vessels and imposing a 20% surcharge on all shipped cargo to cover security expenses in the volatile region.

Reports indicate missile sirens sounding in Bahrain, a location previously targeted in the conflict with Iran.

Although military actions ceased in late June following a ceasefire agreement in February, tensions have reignited.

The UAE government confirmed casualties, with one fatality and eight injuries resulting from a US assault on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE’s Ministry of Defense condemned the attack as a breach of international law jeopardizing regional security and stability.

President Trump is scheduled to address the nation at 9pm Eastern Time, providing updates on the unfolding situation. Stay tuned for the latest developments following his speech.
