Lady Louise Windsor recently graduated from St Andrews University in Scotland, accompanied by her parents, Sophie and Edward. During her four years at the university, where Prince William also studied, she completed her English and international relations degree. Unlike many other royals, Lady Louise has chosen to remain out of the public eye and has no official royal titles. Following her graduation, she is expected to take a gap year to explore various opportunities, including work, volunteering, and travel.
Throughout her university years, Lady Louise showed interest in the Armed Forces, participating in the University Officer Training Corps. There have been speculations about her potentially pursuing a full-time military career, following in the footsteps of her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who served during World War Two. Lady Louise’s dedication to the military has been evident through her active involvement in training exercises.
In addition to her academic achievements, Lady Louise has a passion for carriage riding, a sport she shared with her late grandfather, Prince Philip. She has also been involved in organizing events like the Royal Windsor Horse Show, where she worked as one of the chief organizers. Despite her royal connections, Lady Louise has always valued privacy and has taken on various jobs, including working at a garden center.
While at university, rumors surfaced about Lady Louise’s relationship with fellow student Felix da Silva-Clamp. The pair reportedly met during a student drama production at St Andrews. Although they have kept their relationship private, Felix has been seen supporting Lady Louise at carriage driving competitions.
Looking ahead, Lady Louise and her brother James are not expected to become working royals like their parents. They have been raised to pursue their own career paths and lead independent lives. However, they may support the monarchy when needed, especially as their cousin, Prince William, takes on more responsibilities in the future.
