A 68-year-old woman tragically lost her life in Glasgow after being struck by a lorry while crossing Saracen Street on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at 11:10 am, and despite the arrival of emergency services, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities from Police Scotland are now seeking witnesses to provide information about the incident. Sergeant Chris McColm, from the road policing unit in Glasgow, expressed condolences to the woman’s family and mentioned that investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
