“Ukraine Launches Massive Drone Attack on Moscow”

Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Moscow, deploying around 390 drones over a ten-hour period. Only 81 of the drones were intercepted, leading to damage and widespread panic in the Moscow region. President Volodymyr Zelensky orchestrated the attack as he prepares to meet with US President Donald Trump, aiming to demonstrate Ukraine’s ability to repel Russian aggression.

In the assault, a logistics warehouse serving various Russian companies in Koledino, near Moscow, was set on fire. The facility, located next to a storage site for the Russian online retailer Wildberries, has been targeted multiple times recently. Ukrainian officials allege that Wildberries, similar to Amazon, is linked to the Kremlin’s military supply chain, listing military equipment on its website that could potentially be used against Ukrainian forces.

Recent successes by Ukraine against Russian troops, along with attacks inside Russia, have garnered support for Zelensky from Trump. The two leaders are scheduled to discuss Ukraine’s air defense capabilities, with Zelensky also attending the funeral of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a strong advocate for Ukraine who secured a new Russian sanctions agreement before his passing.

Ukrainian strikes have escalated, targeting locations in Russia and occupied territories, causing damage and injuries. These strikes aim to disrupt Russian infrastructure and weaken the Kremlin’s resources, bringing the consequences of the war to ordinary citizens. The conflict in Ukraine is losing favor among the Russian population due to rising gas prices, fuel shortages, and growing discontent with the government.

Russia has retaliated with missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian civilians, resulting in civilian casualties. Recent incidents include deaths from missile strikes near Kyiv and glide bomb attacks in Sloviansk. The ongoing conflict highlights the toll on civilians and the escalating tensions between the two nations.
