“Multiple Stabbing and Assault in Tesco Parking Lot”

Two individuals were stabbed, and a woman was assaulted in a Tesco parking lot by a group of assailants. Authorities responded to the incident on Leeholme Road, Billingham, County Durham, at approximately 9:35 pm on Monday night. The attackers, riding electric bikes and a quad bike, targeted a black Hyundai Tuscan in the parking area. The quad bike reportedly rammed into the Hyundai, causing damage, and the perpetrators proceeded to pull the occupants out of the vehicle and physically assault them.

The woman who was driving the Hyundai was punched in the face, while two men from the rear of the car were also targeted. The two injured men were promptly taken to the hospital with stab wounds on their abdomen and sides, but their conditions are reported as stable. Fortunately, a fourth man seated in the car was unharmed during the altercation.

Following the incident, a security cordon was put in place in the parking lot, as seen in pictures shared online. However, the cordon was removed by 7 am on Tuesday, and the store resumed operations as normal. Detectives are actively investigating the attack and are requesting any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to come forward and assist in the investigation.

Cleveland Police issued a statement confirming their ongoing investigation into the assault at the Tesco car park in Billingham, highlighting the involvement of a group of men on electric bikes and a quad bike in the attack.
