“Prince William Plans Modernizing Changes for Monarchy”

Prince William is reportedly contemplating significant changes to modernize the monarchy and determine key roles for members of the Firm when he ascends to the throne. While many senior working royals are expected to reduce their royal duties with age, William is already pinpointing individuals suited for specific royal responsibilities.

According to a reliable insider close to the Royal Family, William has selected a royal to take over a duty he has never felt comfortable with once he becomes King. This duty involves the racing responsibilities, which William plans to pass on to his cousin Zara Tindall. Zara, a former Olympic equestrian like her mother Princess Anne, is likely to assume the role of managing the royal racing calendar, a responsibility that William has expressed discomfort with in the past.

Although William acknowledges the importance of events like Royal Ascot to the racing community and the UK, he is expected to be less involved in such events compared to past monarchs. Despite his limited interest in horse racing, William recently attended Royal Ascot and participated in Trooping the Colour, showing respect for royal traditions.

As William prepares for his future role as King, other non-working members of the Royal Family, including the Duke of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Princess Royal, are anticipated to step back from their royal duties. Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie are likely to play crucial roles as senior royals, while William considers which family members to entrust with more prominent responsibilities.
