The body of a young man was discovered at a popular park in Lancashire.
Emergency services swiftly arrived at Williamson Park in Lancaster on the morning of Friday, June 19, after receiving a report of an unresponsive man.
Upon arrival, Lancashire Police confirmed the man’s death at the scene, prompting the immediate closure of the area as paramedics took action, according to Lancs Live.
Authorities stated that no foul play is suspected in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson from Lancashire Police issued a statement today, saying, “We received a call at 7:55 am on Friday, June 19, regarding an unresponsive man at Williamson Park, Wyresdale Road, Lancaster. Emergency services were on-site, and unfortunately, the man in his twenties was pronounced dead at the location.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult period. The incident is not considered suspicious, and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
