“EasyJet Flight Bound for Glasgow Makes Unexpected Landing”

An EasyJet flight bound for Glasgow had to make an unexpected landing in Liverpool. Flight EJU7357 departed from Palma de Mallorca Airport around 6:40 pm on Sunday, May 31, with its destination set for Glasgow Airport.

The Airbus A319 was supposed to land in Scotland at approximately 8:45 pm but was redirected to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Following the diversion, EasyJet issued an apology to affected passengers, attributing the incident to circumstances “beyond our control,” as reported by the Daily Record.

In an online statement to passengers, EasyJet expressed regret for the diversion to Liverpool, apologizing for the inconvenience and assuring passengers of their commitment to resume the journey to Glasgow promptly.

The airline explained that the disruption was considered an extraordinary circumstance outside of their control and outlined plans to refuel and resume the flight promptly, with the crew providing regular updates to passengers.

Earlier in the week, an EasyJet flight from the Isle of Man to Liverpool was compelled to declare a mid-air emergency and divert to Manchester Airport due to an aborted landing sequence. The flight landed safely in Manchester at 4:05 pm on May 24.
