An individual has been identified as the suspect in the recent bomb attack targeting a Ukrainian oligarch in Monaco. The suspect, Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old female from Ukraine, is wanted for the parcel bombing incident that left Vadim Ermolaev and two others severely injured. Interpol has issued an arrest warrant for Berezovska, who is reported to have left Monaco, according to Monaco’s prosecutor’s office.
Interpol has released a red notice describing the suspect as having a tattoo, potentially of a snake, on her right arm extending from the shoulder to the elbow. The notice states that she was born in Ukraine, has dark hair, and speaks German. Authorities in Monaco are seeking her arrest for charges including attempted murder.
A source familiar with the investigation revealed that a witness identified the main suspect. The source cautioned that the suspect is armed and dangerous, possibly accompanied by accomplices, and should be approached with extreme care.
The bomb attack took place on Rue Révérend Père Louis Frolla, near the French border, at approximately 9pm local time on Monday.
