“US and Iran Sign Peace MOU, 60-Day Test Ahead”

The United States and Iran have officially signed a memorandum of understanding to bring an end to the conflict, as confirmed by two senior American officials. The peace agreement was executed digitally, and the memorandum is now in force. Iran has a 60-day window to demonstrate its commitment to peace and reform following the agreement with the US. Both nations are set to engage in discussions to address critical issues such as the status of the Strait of Hormuz for maritime traffic, the allocation of a $300 billion fund for Iran’s reconstruction, among others. The full text of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) was disclosed on Wednesday, outlining the framework for the upcoming two months of talks between the US, Iran, and Tehran, with the US aiming for denuclearization. President Trump cautioned Tehran’s leaders to adhere to the accord, warning of a potential resumption of hostilities and the continuation of efforts to dismantle the Islamic Republic.
