“Trump Considers Headlining 250th Birthday Festival”

Donald Trump is contemplating headlining a festival marking America’s 250th birthday with a performer he believes surpasses Elvis in drawing crowds. Trump, also known as the “GOAT,” mentioned the idea on Truth Social, considering it for the Great American State Fair on the National Mall in Washington DC due to performers withdrawing from the event.

In a post on social media, the 79-year-old US president expressed the possibility of bringing himself, acclaimed as the most significant attraction globally, to replace the artists who canceled their appearances. Trump emphasized his love for the country and his title as the purported greatest president in history, inviting “Great Patriots” to a potential rally and speech in Washington DC.

The 16-day festival, scheduled from June 25 to July 10, faced several cancellations from artists like Young MC, Morris Day, The Commodores, Bret Michaels, and Martina McBride. The event, organized by Freedom 250, a nonprofit linked to the Trump administration, saw artists backing out, citing misrepresentation of the festival’s political stance.

The Commodores, through an Instagram post, clarified their decision not to perform at the fair, highlighting their stance as a nonpartisan music group dedicated to the well-being of all Americans. Similarly, singer Martina McBride expressed disappointment in being misled about the event’s nonpartisan nature.
