A tragic incident occurred in California as a soon-to-be father lost his life while rock climbing. Andy Paul Ferrarone, aged 33, was climbing near Castle Rock in Big Bear on July 12 when he slipped on a rocky slope, falling approximately 20 feet and sustaining severe head injuries. Despite efforts by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit who performed CPR at the scene and his subsequent transfer to Loma Linda University Medical Center, Ferrarone passed away on July 15.
His wife, Nina, who is nine weeks pregnant, now faces the challenge of preparing for parenthood alone. To support her during this difficult time, a GoFundMe page has been set up.
