The Boynton Beach Police Department responded to a call reporting an unresponsive and non-breathing child at around 11am EDT on July 23. Upon arrival, officers administered life-saving measures until the arrival of the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue team. Despite their efforts, the toddler remained in critical condition and unfortunately passed away on July 27.
Authorities revealed that the child and her sibling were at the babysitter’s home when the incident occurred. The babysitter had left the children in the care of their spouse, who later discovered the girl with her head trapped inside the play kitchen during a routine check. The spouse promptly intervened and provided emergency assistance.
