Tributes honoring the memory of Henry Nowak have resurfaced online, featuring heartfelt videos of him and his sister, Olivia, joyfully singing and dancing together.
In a poignant online message, Olivia, aged 22, expressed her eternal love for her brother Henry, who she described as “forever 18.” The first tribute video, set to Coldplay’s hit song “Yellow,” was shared 10 days after Henry tragically lost his life to a fatal stabbing in December 2025.
The video clip, lasting 53 seconds, captured Henry’s radiant smile and optimistic demeanor towards the future. It showed him dancing with Olivia in their family home in Chafford Hundred, Essex.
Olivia has continued to share touching videos paying tribute to her brother, showcasing intimate moments of them holding hands and sharing joyful times together, like during a family holiday.
Expressing her deep sorrow, Olivia described Henry as her best friend and angel brother, emphasizing their strong bond evident in the videos they shared.
During the trial of Vickrum Digwa for Henry’s murder, Olivia confronted him in court, stating that had he known Henry, he would not have caused him harm. She spoke of the immense pain of losing her brother, emphasizing that Henry was an integral part of her life.
Henry’s family has called for a reassessment of policing practices, urging a return to common sense. An upcoming inquest into Henry’s death will scrutinize the actions of police officers on the night of the incident, as announced by Hampshire’s area coroner, Jason Pegg.
The incident involving Henry’s fatal stabbing by Digwa, who falsely claimed to be a victim of a racist attack, has sparked criticism of Hampshire Police’s response. The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating the handling of the case.
Henry, a student who had moved to Southampton, was one of four siblings. Digwa received a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years for his role in the tragic event.
