In south-east France, reports indicate that the remains of five infants were discovered at the residence of a couple in Orange, a city located in the Vaucluse region. The findings were made inside cardboard boxes, as detailed by various sources referenced in a report by French newspaper Le Parisien on Tuesday.
According to a source familiar with the investigation, the revelation occurred after a 1994-born woman gave birth to her third child at a hospital on Monday evening, following what was described as a case of “pregnancy denial.” The hospital in Orange raised concerns to authorities for reasons that are currently unclear. Subsequently, the police visited the couple’s home, where the father of the child reportedly rummaged through boxes and came across the remains of five infants.
