María Camila Potosí, who was eight months pregnant, was last seen riding on a motorcycle in Polvorines, a town in Cali, Colombia. She was reported missing on July 16 and was later found near the River Meléndez after a thorough search by both her family and authorities.
Tragically, María had been stabbed to death, and her baby was cut from her womb. The unborn child, expected to be named Alahia, was due in August, with a baby shower planned shortly before the horrific events unfolded.
