“Instagram Influencer Turned Drug Dealer Gets 10-Year Sentence”

A man who flaunted his extravagant lifestyle on social media platform Instagram, showcasing luxury items like Rolex watches, driving a Lamborghini, and spending over £1,200 on a meal at the famous Salt Bae’s restaurant, has been sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison for dealing drugs.

Jordan Woolmer, aged 28, was found guilty of distributing cocaine and cannabis following a comprehensive four-year investigation by the police.

Law enforcement officers uncovered numerous social media posts depicting Jordan enjoying his opulent way of life, featuring images of him driving high-end vehicles and posing with a Rolex watch in a Bentley.

One photo displayed him dining at Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et London steakhouse, where he spent over £1,200 during the meal, all paid for in cash.

Woolmer, residing in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, received his sentence at Northampton Crown Court on June 12, 2024. The court was informed that the extensive investigation originated from an incident in 2022 when Woolmer and his co-defendant, Kacper Burzynski, were apprehended in Northampton with 450g of cannabis, 83g of cocaine, and £7,000 in cash seized by authorities.

During the investigation, a £12,500 Rolex watch, £20,000 in cash from a rented property, and designer clothing from his residence were discovered by the police. Nearly a year later, Woolmer’s fingerprints were identified on over £14,000 found at a property in Leicester.

Just four days later, forensic evidence linked him to 500g of cocaine located in a storage unit in Rutland after his fingerprints were matched to the packaging.

On May 24, 2024, police arrested Woolmer once more after seizing an additional 500g of cocaine, designer clothing, and £16,000 in cash from two properties in Burton Latimer.

Throughout the investigation, authorities recovered a total of £57,465 in cash, one kilogram of cocaine, 500g of cannabis, and clothing valued at £34,680.

Detective Constable James Roe, from Northamptonshire Police, stated, “No individual should profit from their unlawful activities and extravagant lifestyle at the expense of others.

“Jordan Woolmer believed he could lead a life beyond his means and recklessly displayed his lavish lifestyle on Instagram.

“This meticulous investigation aimed at bringing Woolmer to justice reflects the severity of his crimes and the dedication of our team in handling this case.”

Additionally, Woolmer was sentenced to one year and 10 months for violating a suspended sentence order, along with an extra three months for driving unlawfully while disqualified and without a license. He
