“FBI Thwarts Terror Plot on UFC Freedom 250 Event”

The FBI has revealed that they successfully disrupted a planned attack on the UFC Freedom 250 event in Washington DC. According to the Bureau, five individuals have been detained, while 23 others have been identified as potential collaborators in the scheme.

The alleged plot involved using drones carrying explosives to target buildings near the event venue on Sunday, prompting a mass evacuation and guiding crowds towards a sniper team stationed at a predetermined location. Officials also disclosed that a “second wave” was planned to breach the White House gate.

Initial awareness of the conspiracy dates back to June 10 when a person was apprehended in Cincinnati, leading to the discovery of Signal chats where multiple individuals discussed plans to attack the UFC event. Notably, data from one suspect’s iPhone indicated that 23 Signal users were engaged in preliminary discussions. Some of the implicated parties reportedly intended to travel to Fredericksburg, Virginia, on June 12 or 13 to finalize preparations for the assault.

Furthermore, it is alleged that the primary target of the attack was to be capitalist elites and politicians who received contributions from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The operation involved at least 12 FBI field offices, with FBI Director Kash Patel commending the swift response that thwarted the planned attacks.

In a statement, Patel emphasized the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in halting the threats posed to American citizens, particularly during events like the UFC 250 fight. He encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities to the FBI hotline or online portal, underscoring the ongoing vigilance required to ensure public safety.
