“Farmer Sprays Tourists’ Cars with Manure in UK Scenic Spot”

An irate farmer took action by spraying a number of tourists’ vehicles with manure after they parked in a field at a scenic location in the UK. The incident, captured on video, occurred near Rydal Water in the Lake District, Cumbria, where around 20 cars were coated in slurry on May 26. The field is adjacent to Rydal Mount, the former home of poet William Wordsworth.

Signs clearly indicated that parking was prohibited in the field due to the presence of sheep. Luxury cars such as Mercedes, Jaguars, and BMWs were among those affected in what has been termed “countryside karma.” The issue of unauthorized parking in the area, especially during busy holiday periods, has long been a concern.

The farmer’s action was supported by some individuals online, with comments reflecting understanding for the frustration caused by disrespectful behavior. Cumbria Police are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances, as it appears the cars were parked without permission on private land.

The farmer responsible for spraying the vehicles has been contacted for a statement. Cumbria Police reminded the public to park in accordance with the highway code and in appropriate locations to avoid obstructing others, including emergency services vehicles.
