Thousands of ChatGPT users worldwide are facing issues with the AI application this morning, causing disruptions in logging in and sending messages. Reports of difficulties have surfaced from various countries like the UK, US, India, Japan, and Australia.
OpenAI has acknowledged the situation, stating that they are encountering problems with several services, including ChatGPT and Codex. The company reassures users that they are actively investigating the issue.
Numerous ChatGPT users have expressed frustration as their chats and projects fail to load. Some users have even received notifications about an “authentication issue.”
Notably, users across multiple UK cities have experienced problems with OpenAI services today, with a concentration of reports emerging from London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, and Southampton.
In a light-hearted response, one ChatGPT user humorously mentioned resorting to using their own brain to compose emails due to the unresponsive AI tool.
In the UK alone, over 3,000 OpenAI users have reported issues with AI services today. DownDetector statistics reveal that the majority, accounting for 79%, are ChatGPT users, while 9% encounter troubles with the OpenAI app and 8% with Codex.
