Three individuals have been swiftly transported to the hospital with severe injuries after a car struck them in Nottinghamshire. Police responded to reports of a significant collision on Linby Lane, near Hucknall, around 9 pm on Friday. A male suspect has been taken into custody on suspicion of reckless driving, as per Nottinghamshire Police.
Michelle Welsh, the Member of Parliament for Sherwood Forest, expressed her sympathy for those impacted by the tragic incident and advised motorists in the vicinity to consider alternative travel routes. Following the collision, Linby Lane was closed between Moor Road and Wighay Road but has since been reopened.
