Multiple individuals reportedly sustained severe injuries when a bus crashed into a building and bus stop in Spain, prompting a significant emergency response. The incident took place in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, at approximately 7:15 am local time.
According to local sources, out of the 46 individuals who received medical attention, four were critically wounded, nine suffered moderate injuries, and 33 had minor injuries. The bus, en route from Lleida to La Granja d’Escarp, collided on Rambla Ferran, a well-known street in the city known for its historical significance and architectural charm.
Authorities have closed the road as police, paramedics, and fire personnel continue to provide aid to the passengers involved in the accident, as per Spanish newspaper Diari Segre.
