Ethan Lacey, 20, faced life-threatening injuries after falling from a moving truck in Pattaya back in May. Following over a month of treatment in a Thai hospital, his family managed to fund his transfer to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Despite facing uncertainties about his future due to multiple infections and brain fluid accumulation, Ethan’s mother, Kerry, noted a recent improvement in his condition. He has begun responding to stimuli, such as acknowledging a painting by his daughter and nodding in response to questions from medical staff.
