Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, expanding from its US launch. This new subscription service allows British customers to protect multiple Apple devices with a single plan. For £16.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three eligible devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, providing repair services or up to three replacement devices per year in case of accidental damage, loss, or theft.
AppleCare One enhances the existing AppleCare+ by offering a consolidated approach to protecting multiple products under one subscription, saving customers potential costs compared to individual plans. The service also allows devices up to four years old to be added, as long as they are in good condition, surpassing the usual 60-day limit for purchasing AppleCare+ after device acquisition.
Furthermore, AppleCare One adjusts seamlessly when upgrading devices. If a covered device is traded in for a new one from Apple, the old device is automatically replaced on the subscription with the new purchase. Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the simplicity and flexibility of AppleCare One, providing customers in the UK with comprehensive protection for their eligible products.
