Despite trailing by as much as 17 points and never leading, the Tempo displayed some positive indicators, including 22 second-chance points, a 41-32 rebounding advantage over Indiana, and 38 bench points compared to the Fever’s 20.
A critical moment occurred when Mabrey’s potential game-changing three-pointer was nullified by a palming violation as Toronto attempted to close the gap with seconds remaining. The Tempo struggled offensively, shooting 39.1% from the field and 32.4% from beyond the arc, making only 34 of 87 field-goal attempts.
