An influencer and her partner were found dead, shot and abandoned on a remote roadside as authorities pursue their assailant or assailants.
Ulissias Marcelli Couto Flores Cardial, known as Miss Tattoo, a 30-year-old fire performer and social media figure, was discovered deceased alongside her 28-year-old partner VinÃcius Souza de Carvalho.
Law enforcement is exploring the possibility that the couple may have been forcibly detained before their tragic demise.
The former beauty queen, survived by a 13-year-old son, was located on July 18th, along with VinÃcius, on a rural side street in Porto Seguro, Brazil.
Officials disclosed that the pair had been shot the day prior, with investigators recovering seven expended 9mm cartridge casings and two projectiles from the scene.
While Ulissias’ mobile device was confiscated for scrutiny, her partner’s phone was nowhere to be found.
The influencer, recognized for her posts on rock music, biking, and animal advocacy to her 20,000 Instagram followers, also earned a local beauty award in 2021.
Residing locally and employed in the event industry, the couple was set to participate in an upcoming music festival, with Ulissias slated to host.
Expressing condolences on social media, Ulissias’ mother mourned: “Rest in peace, my beloveds. You have left an indelible mark. Your absence is deeply felt – a truly devastating loss.”
Event organizers lamented, saying: “Today, we bid a sorrowful farewell to her presence among us. It’s hard to fathom that someone poised to share a special moment with us has departed so suddenly.”
As the inquiry unfolds, no arrests have been made yet.
