A father tragically passed away while rushing to the scene of a car accident involving his daughter. Gheorghe, aged 45, and his wife hurried from their village of Vasile Alecsandri in Galați County, Romania, upon learning that their 23-year-old daughter had been injured in a collision. While feeling unwell during the journey, Gheorghe pulled over on the DN25 road near Șendreni and lost consciousness. An ambulance passing by stopped to assist upon noticing the situation.
Despite efforts from paramedics who tried for 50 minutes to revive him, Gheorghe, who had a heart stent, could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene due to a heart attack. Fortunately, his daughter sustained minor injuries in the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles. Traffic was briefly disrupted as authorities managed the situation.
Gheorghe’s body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death, while a police investigation is ongoing. Social media users have expressed their condolences and sadness for the family.

The group was navigating a precarious section when the anchor point they were attached to suddenly gave way. Antonia, positioned at the back, slipped first, leading to a chain reaction that resulted in all four climbers plummeting onto the rocks below.
