As air-raid sirens echoed through the city, residents hurried into underground stations with their essentials and pets to seek safety from the intense blasts, following prior warnings of an imminent large-scale offensive.
President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the populace to take heed of the air-raid alerts and exercise extreme caution as intelligence reports indicated Russia’s preparations for another significant strike. The night saw the sound of air defences engaging attack drones, leading to a massive explosion and subsequent blasts that continued relentlessly.
