Two 13-year-old boys have been apprehended in connection with a severe blaze that ravaged a Leicester shopping center, necessitating the demolition of a section of the structure.
Authorities responded to Thurmaston Shopping Centre on Barkby Thorpe Lane upon receiving reports of a fire shortly after 4:15 am on Saturday, June 20. The incident prompted the dispatch of eight fire engines, two aerial units, and over 40 firefighters to combat the flames, with the cause remaining undetermined post-extinguishment.
