Donald Trump shared that his recent medical examination results indicated everything was in perfect condition. The US president, aged 80, underwent his check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre and expressed gratitude to the medical team for their care. This visit marked his third trip to the facility within 13 months.
Over the past year, Trump’s health concerns have garnered public attention, including issues such as swollen ankles, a bruised hand, and a neck rash. White House physician Sean Barbabella clarified that the neck rash was being treated with a common cream as a preventive measure, without disclosing specific details.
Barbabella previously confirmed that the leg swelling and hand bruising were benign conditions, attributing the swelling to a common vein issue and the bruising to frequent handshaking. Additionally, Trump underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan last October, with reports indicating exceptional physical health as a result.
Medical professionals have pointed out that MRIs are not typically part of routine check-ups and are mainly used for detailed body imaging. Following the second examination, Barbabella stated that Trump’s cardiac age, determined through ECG readings, was approximately 14 years younger than his actual age.
