Prince George to Attend Eton College, Continuing Royal Legacy

Prince George, the eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, is set to join Eton College for his secondary education in September, following his father’s path. Currently finishing his final term at Lambrook School, the 13-year-old will start at the renowned all-boys school located just a short drive from the family home in Windsor.

A statement from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s representatives confirmed Prince George’s enrollment at Eton College but did not specify whether he would be a boarding student. Eton College has a history of royal attendees, including Prince William and Prince Harry, who both had contrasting experiences at the school.

Prince William excelled at Eton, participating in various sports teams, earning academic achievements, and later attending St Andrew’s University. On the other hand, Prince Harry found it challenging to adapt to the boarding school environment and credited sports for keeping him engaged in school.

Joining a lineage of royal alumni, Prince George’s attendance at Eton continues a tradition that includes prominent figures in British history and entertainment. The decision comes after much speculation about his future education, with Eton being the final choice over other potential schools.

The legacy of Eton College extends beyond royalty, with numerous public figures and leaders having walked its halls. Prince George’s upcoming enrollment adds another chapter to the school’s storied history.
