An investigation has been initiated by the police following reports of a nine-year-old girl being subjected to inappropriate touching at Butlin’s resort. The incident occurred at the Skegness site on Monday morning, where the girl was approached near her family’s accommodation on Pelican Court.
According to Lincolnshire Police, a man allegedly touched the child over her clothing and placed his hand on her face. The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 30 and 40, with dark hair, and was wearing a green T-shirt at the time.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the vicinity to come forward with information. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
A spokesperson from Butlin’s expressed deep concern over the incident and stated that the company has been providing support to the affected family. They emphasized cooperation with the police in addressing the situation and vowed further assistance as needed.
