A military helicopter crashed in Alabama, United States, carrying three individuals. The incident involving the helicopter from the US Army base Fort Rucker occurred near Opp on Monday, July 28.
According to officials, the crew was engaged in routine flight training when the mishap took place, resulting in the chopper being part of an aviation accident. Sheriff Blake Turman of Covington County confirmed the crash in a privately owned field on Cool Springs Road. Fortunately, Sheriff Truman indicated that there were no apparent injuries sustained by anyone involved.
The helicopter was occupied by an instructor pilot and two student pilots during the crash, all of whom are reportedly in stable condition. They were promptly taken to a Dothan hospital for further medical assessment. Authorities have confirmed that no injuries were reported among individuals on the ground, and no property damage has been documented.
