A man has been hospitalized following a shooting incident at a cafe located in Liverpool. Police swiftly responded to reports of gunfire at Bala Bs Soul Food Kitchen on Lodge Lane in Toxteth around 5 pm on Friday.
Merseyside Police dispatched armed units to the scene and subsequently closed off Lodge Lane between Bentley Road and Seacole Close. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
A Section 60 stop-and-search order has been put into effect until 6.59 pm, at which time it will be reassessed. This order encompasses various areas including Upper Parliament Street, Smithtown Road, Greenbank Road, and others.
