Lenovo has entered the tablet market with its latest offering, the Tab Plus Gen 2, challenging Apple’s dominant iPad. Featuring a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, the Tab Plus Gen 2 offers a sleek design reminiscent of other large tablets.
However, what sets it apart is the unique circular speaker powered by JBL technology, replacing the traditional metal casing. This speaker not only enhances audio quality for entertainment purposes but can also function as a Bluetooth speaker, supporting Dolby Atmos audio.
The Tab Plus Gen 2 also includes a built-in kickstand for hands-free viewing, with a versatile 360-degree design that allows for landscape, portrait, and carry-handle modes. Under the hood, it is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a large 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage expandable via an SD Card.
Priced at £369 on Lenovo’s website, the Tab Plus Gen 2 offers a competitive alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, with the base iPad starting at £429 and the upgraded Air model priced at £749.
