“British Man Sought in Model’s Suitcase Murder”

Police are on the lookout for a British man in connection with the suspected killing of a Colombian model whose body was discovered inside a suitcase. The victim, Natalia Villalba Angarita, aged 36, was found in the bathroom of a rented apartment in Bogotá, Colombia.

Cleaning staff uncovered the gruesome scene when they entered the seventh-floor apartment after the rental period expired. The victim’s remains were found concealed in a grey suitcase in the bathroom, with the shower still running.

Natalia, a model from Cúcuta, northern Colombia, had two passports at the scene, one expired and the other with valid stamps indicating recent travel to Spain. Authorities are treating the case as a potential deliberate homicide and are analyzing fingerprint and trace evidence for clues. A post-mortem examination is underway to determine the exact cause and time of death.

The apartment was leased from June 3 and extended until June 21. An individual from the United States was present during the early part of Natalia’s stay, followed by a British national who entered the property on June 17 and departed the next day. Surveillance footage captured the British man carrying bed linen to a laundry area.

Investigators are reviewing the CCTV footage, along with other security recordings and building entry logs, to track the movements of the two foreign men as part of the ongoing inquiry. Both the American and British nationals are currently evading authorities and are actively being pursued by law enforcement. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.

The Mirror has reached out to the Colombian National Police and the Foreign Office for comments.
