ASK Italian’s Spring Menu Delights Brits Amid Cost Crisis

Brits are seeking the perfect dining experience amidst the ongoing cost of living crisis in the UK. Choosing the right restaurant for a meal out is crucial to ensure value for money. To explore ASK Italian’s latest spring menu innovations, I decided to sample their offerings firsthand. ASK Italian presents a fresh array of dishes inspired by the vibrant Italian culinary tradition. One highlight is the Truffle Honey Prosciutto Pizza A Mano, joining a lineup of creative cocktails like the Pepperoni Negroni, Hot Honey Margarita, and Cherry Limoncello Meringue Cocktail.

Customers can indulge in three sides for £12, enhancing their dining experience with the new menu offerings. Moreover, diners can enjoy a complimentary Spritz of their choice throughout May by simply downloading and signing up for the ASK Perks Rewards App.

My culinary journey began with the Bruschetta Pizzetta starter, a delightful combination of stone-baked Wildfarmed dough with pomodoro sauce, slow-roasted tomatoes, rocket, ricotta salata, and balsamic glaze. The flavors harmonized beautifully, accentuated by a touch of chili oil for an extra kick.

While waiting for the starter, we were treated to the Crispy Pepperoni nibbles, which turned out to be surprisingly addictive. Moving on to the main courses, I savored the Pollo Roquito pizza featuring roast chicken breast, Roquito pepper pearls, and balsamic red onions on a tomato and mozzarella base. The generous toppings and light, airy dough made for a delightful pizza experience.

The Sea Bass alla Mediterranea, oven-baked with slow-roasted tomatoes, black olives, and capers, served on a bed of roasted potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach, impressed with its perfectly cooked fish and flavorful white wine sauce.

Among the sides, the Hot Honey Luganica Sausages were a standout, complemented by a smoked chili jelly that added a tantalizing twist. The Bolognese Bites and Seasoned Roast Potatoes also delivered on taste and texture.

For dessert, we indulged in the Chocostachio Bomb, a velvety chocolate and pistachio mousse encased in Italian meringue. Light and not overly sweet, it was a delightful conclusion to the meal.

To complement the flavors, I sampled the Hugo Spritz and the Hot Honey Margarita Italiana, both offering unique and enjoyable taste experiences. The mocktail options like Peach Bubble Tea and Crodino provided refreshing alternatives for non-alcoholic drinkers.

Overall, ASK Italian’s new menu presents innovative and fresh options for the spring and summer seasons. The three sides for £12 offer great value, while the extensive cocktail and mocktail selection caters to various preferences. With a focus on top-quality pizza and pasta dishes, ASK Italian stands out among High Street brands for its culinary offerings. The attentive service further enhances the dining experience, making it a destination worth revisiting with friends.
