His lawyer, Claire Howell, explained that Jenkinson, who is homeless and resides in a Travelodge, requires his dog for support due to ADHD. However, the judge emphasized the need for substantial evidence to allow a dog in the courtroom.
The judge postponed the police’s request for a Stalking Protection Order and decided to proceed with the hearing in Jenkinson’s absence. Jenkinson was granted temporary accommodation to leave his dog for future court appearances. The trial involves allegations of causing fear to the former Duke of York in Wolferton and a separate incident involving another individual in King’s Lynn.
The court scheduled a criminal trial for December 21, where Mountbatten-Windsor and other witnesses will testify. Jenkinson contests the imposition of the Stalking Protection Order. The judge ruled that key witnesses, including the former duke, must provide testimony again for the Stalking Protection Order hearing.
