In Worcestershire, a five-year-old child who was reported missing yesterday has been tragically found deceased. West Mercia Police announced the heartbreaking discovery after a search for the child who disappeared from Badsey near Evesham on Wednesday, July 29.
Authorities confirmed that the child was discovered unresponsive in water in the Badsey area and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident, believed to be a drowning, is deemed a tragic accident with no suspicious circumstances involved. The police will compile a report for a coroner’s inquest.
Out of respect for the grieving family, the child’s gender has not been disclosed. According to a police spokesperson, the child was found in a water body and despite efforts by emergency services, they could not be revived.
