“Mysterious Death of Scottish Woman Found in Greece”

A kind-hearted Scottish woman, Elisabeth Jane Ross, known as Lisa, was tragically found dead inside a suitcase at an abandoned building in Greece. The discovery was made by a homeless man in the Kypseli neighborhood of Athens on July 18. Despite no apparent signs of struggle or visible injuries on her body, Greek authorities believe Lisa had been deceased for about eight days.

Following her identification through media coverage, it was revealed that text messages were sent from Lisa’s mobile phone posthumously, leading to her father receiving messages almost 10 days after her body was found. Investigators are now probing into the circumstances surrounding her death to determine if foul play was involved. Toxicology tests are underway as part of the ongoing investigation.

Heartbroken friends and family members have taken to social media to pay tribute to Lisa, describing her as a compassionate individual with a beautiful heart. The police are treating the location where her body was found as a crime scene and are actively working on the case. Autopsy results are awaited, and international agencies such as Interpol and US investigators have been engaged to assist in the inquiry.

Lisa, who was initially unidentified due to the absence of any identification on her, was described as a 30-year-old woman with reddish hair tied in a bun, wearing a T-shirt and black shorts with a French university emblem. Reports suggest she had traveled to Greece from Edinburgh and had been in contact with friends and family before her mysterious death.

Authorities in Scotland are collaborating with Greek officials on the investigation, while providing support to Lisa’s grieving family. No suspects have been named in connection with the case so far. The UK Foreign Office has extended condolences to Lisa’s family and is actively involved in providing consular assistance during this challenging period.
