“UK Man in Coma After Greece Quad Bike Crash”

A 20-year-old man from Salford is in critical condition at a hospital in Greece following a serious quad bike accident while on a vacation with friends. Bradley Belhomme sustained severe head injuries in a collision with a coach in Zante last week. He and a friend were riding rented quads when the incident occurred, leading to both being hospitalized.

Bradley is currently in a coma in intensive care at a hospital in Attica, Athens, as confirmed by his family. His mother, Leanne Rabbetts, expressed her shock at the sudden turn of events, recounting the distressing moment she received the news of the crash. She flew out to be by his side as soon as she could, detailing the challenges of the situation and the medical care he is receiving.

Despite uncertainties about Bradley’s travel insurance coverage, his family has sought assistance from the British Embassy. They remain hopeful about his recovery but are anxiously awaiting the results of his MRI scan to assess the extent of his brain injuries. Meanwhile, support has poured in from friends and the community through social media appeals and fundraising efforts to cover medical expenses.

Bradley’s uncle, Adam, emphasized the importance of ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place for Bradley’s care and potential repatriation. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and described Bradley as a well-liked young man who simply sought to enjoy a holiday with friends. As they navigate the challenges in a foreign setting with language barriers, their focus remains on Bradley’s well-being and eventual return home.
