A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly admitting to the murder of her four-year-old son and claiming to have consumed parts of his body. The incident unfolded when she voluntarily surrendered to authorities at Wyong Police Station in New South Wales, Australia. Following her confession, police conducted a welfare check at her residence.
Upon questioning, the woman purportedly disclosed that she had ingested fragments of her son’s remains. Subsequently, law enforcement officers who investigated the property were met with a disturbing sight. Local reports indicate that the body of the deceased child, bearing severe arm and leg injuries, was found on the premises.
Authorities have cordoned off the residence in the tranquil coastal suburb, approximately an hour-and-a-half drive from Sydney, as homicide detectives delve into the case. Additionally, the woman underwent a forensic procedure, including the collection of a cheek swab, blood sample, and material from under her nails, for investigative purposes unrelated to obtaining suspect DNA.
