Man Found Dead in Liverpool Residential Area, Investigation Launched

Police have initiated an investigation following the discovery of a deceased man in his thirties on a residential road in Liverpool. Merseyside Police stated that the individual was found on Kersey Road in Kirkby around 12:50 pm, and the circumstances of his death are currently categorized as “unexplained.”

Witnesses reported observing a man lying on the ground before authorities established a cordon and set up several white tents at the location. According to a local resident, the man, who was found without shoes and had facial injuries, was discovered by a friend’s daughter.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police confirmed the ongoing investigation into the man’s death in Kirkby. The report was received from the North West Ambulance Service at approximately 12:50 pm on Saturday, June 27. A police cordon has been put in place on Kersey Road, and the incident is being treated as unexplained while inquiries continue to determine the full circumstances.
