A British toddler, aged three, is currently in critical condition at a hospital after her parents found her unconscious in the pool at their vacation villa in Spain. The child was rushed to the hospital with a weak pulse and remains in a serious state with no signs of improvement, according to local reports.
This incident marks the fourth involving British families within a week, following the tragic deaths of three children, aged one, three, and four, in separate incidents on the Costa del Sol and the Canary Islands.
The little girl was discovered floating face-down in the pool at her family’s holiday villa in Pollensa, located in northern Mallorca. She is now receiving treatment at Son Espases Hospital in Palma, the capital of the island. The emergency unfolded around 8 pm the previous evening.
Upon finding their daughter in distress, the parents immediately jumped into the pool and attempted to revive her before local authorities intervened. Medical responders arrived at the scene and successfully resuscitated the child using CPR before transporting her to the hospital for further care.
